For instance, a surge in power or a blackout when you don't have a battery backup, or perhaps you have a battery backup, but your battery has run down.  Even your memory in your computer can cause these problems, and then there is the evil spyware, adware and viruses to deal with.  And although pd-Base does have the option to backup your database not everyone backs up often enough, so at some point you may get the dreaded corrupted database only to find that those really important records were not backed up like they should have been. Even the most expensive software is susceptible to corruption under adverse circumstances.  But luckily there is a simple fix.  I have searched for the best software to fix a corrupted database and finally found them.  The company is Cimaware and their product is called My suggestion is that if you ever incur corruption in one of your databases, give this software a try. I have tested it myself and was very pleased with the results.  I have tested other software in the past that just didn't work, but the very first time I tested AccessFix it worked on the same test where others failed.
